Conference tournament time is upon us and what better place to be in than New York City.

This year's A-10 Tournament is once again underway from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and the seeding looks much different than most thought it would when this season began.

Picked to finish 7th in the A-10 Preseason Poll, the VCU Rams enter the 2019 A-10 Tournament as the #1 seed and on a 12 game win streak. The Rams scratched and clawed their way to a 16-2 record in the A-10 regular season forcing their opponents to respect them along the way.

Tomorrow, VCU puts their win streak on the line against the last team to beat them in the Rhode Island Rams. Earlier today, the #8 seed Rhode Island defeated the #9 seed La Salle 76-57 to set up a Rams vs. Rams matchup.

The last time VCU took the court and didn't leave with a win was on January 23, 2019 at the Ryan Center in a 71-65 loss to Rhode Island. Both teams were 4-2 in the A-10 at the time. VCU has since avenged that loss by pummeling the Rams in a rematch on February 19, 2019 by a final score of 76-42. Judging by how well VCU is executing both offensively and defensively over their 12 game win streak, they're tough not to pick to win this weekend's A-10 Tournament.
