The first surprise of the draft comes at #4 when the Raiders picked Richmond's Clelin Ferrell.

Not surprising that the Benedictine grad goes in the first round but that he went in the 1-4 range not in the 21-32 range like many projected.

There was a feeling that the Raiders could be full of surprises tonight and here is the first one.

However you feel, good, bad or a reach, this is exciting for Richmond's own as he is the first 1st round pick from Richmond since Duane Brown from Hermitage and Virginia Tech was selected in 2008.
