McElroy: UVA ready to turn the page and give people something else to talk about

Video, practice highlights, and "chomping at the bit"

VIDEO from UVA's practice

If Virginia has nerves about tomorrow, right now they are ducks on the water. Because unless its going underneath the surface, this team isn't show nerves or any shakiness about returning to the 1 vs 16 matchup.

As they have been all year, the players handled all the questions from the local and national media about last year's loss to UMBC with total class, but they also did a good job of making sure the conversation included the respect they have for Gardner Webb (who oh by the way they face this year).

Kyle Guy discusses what it took for this team to move on and be ready for this Tournament.

Virginia's play-by-play voice Dave Koehn and I both agree that looking at Ty Jerome, he looks like a man that is chomping at the bit to play this game.

The Wahoos look like a team very comfortable and confident in their skin. While the proof is in the pudding, you can call me "Charlie Brown thinking Lucy will let me kick the ball" but I'm buying and believing this is the year Tony B's crew of Cavaliers break through to the Final Four.

The journey Continues tomorrow.

Remember you can hear the game starting at 230p on Sports Radio 910 The Fan starting at 2:30p.
